The one secret to succeed in the Christian walk is simple but not easy to apply,in my devotion,i consider Luke 5:36-39,but with much emphasis on verse 39 which reads"No man also having drunk old wine immediately desires the new wine,for he says,the old is better"
I put the word immediately in italics because its the key text,
Indeed no one desires the new wine which is from Christ immediately but it takes time,Its a process.
One of my favorite authors Mrs White writes in one of her books The Faith I live by saying "There is no such thing as an instantaneous sanctification,the walk with Christ is a daily duty"
But thats not to say that the sanctification can not be attained,it can be attained but with perseverance and tears,Never feel safe and comfortable when you are not going through any struggles in your Christian walk because the truth of the matter is that self must be in conflict with the divine nature and will of God because it is infested with SIN.
Lastly today i considered 2 Corinthians 4:16 which reads"For which cause we faint not,but though our outward man perish,yet the inward man is renewed day by day"
The Christian walk is a daily walk with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,its not a leap but a walk!
Jesus loves you and me!
Know that fact and be confident in it!
